May 2021 Elections – Your chance to join!

It is anticipated that the elections for the Parish Council will take place in May 2021 and the nomination forms will be available from the Clerk in early March.
You must be willing to fully participate in our meetings, which are held monthly (1st Tuesday of the month) and have time to spare to carry out some duties in between meetings.

Eligibility to become a Parish Councillor (one of the following):

  • is registered as a local government elector for the parish;
  • or  has during the whole of the preceding twelve months occupied as owner or tenant, any land or premises in the parish; or
  • his/her principal or only place of work during the preceding twelve months has been in the parish; or
  • had during the whole of the preceding twelve months resided in the parish or within 4.8 km thereof.

If you are interested or would like to see what the Parish Council does, all of our meetings are open to members of the public over Zoom, in the current Covid-19 crisis.
